Unauthorised use of official Ministry of Health letterhead

Port-of-Spain, March 25, 2020:  The Ministry of Health advises the population that the alleged fake news post referring to videos of Ian Alleyne was not issued by the Ministry of Health.

Members of the public are not authorized to use the official letterhead of the Ministry of Health, in any form, and should refrain from doing so.

The Ministry will continue to provide accurate information to the public in a timely fashion. The public is therefore urged to disregard and avoid sharing all unconfirmed, misleading and/or false information about COVID-19.
