T&TTTA gets funding for junior tournament

On Wednesday April 10, 2019, the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs presented a cheque valued at $137,025.00 to the Trinidad and Tobago Table Tennis Association (T&TTTA) towards their participation at the 2019 Caribbean Cadet and Junior Tournament in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Prior to the presentation, which took place at the Ministry’s Head Office in St. Clair, Acting Permanent Secretary Farook Hosein was advised by President of T&TTTA Mr. David Joseph of the appointed of a new Executive which will focus on restructuring policies to ensure the efficient and sustainable operations of the Association.

Upon presenting the cheque, acting Permanent Secretary Hosein wished the T&TTTA and its members the very best in their Tournament.

The Trinidad and Tobago Table Tennis Association will be sending a contingent of 14 persons to the Caribbean Cadet and Junior Tournament which takes place from April 12 to April 17, 2019.
