Service interruption to parts of South East Trinidad

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South East Trinidad, served by the Navet Water Treatment Plant, that there will be an interruption in their water supply on Thursday 14th March 2019, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. 

This has become necessary in order to carry out necessary maintenance works at Plant.

Areas affected include: 

Rio Claro, Poole, San Pedro, Tabaquite, Navet, Tableland, New Grant, Hardbargain, Craignish Village, Matilda, St. Julien, Indian Walk, Hindustan, St. Mary's Village, Cunjal, Cumoto, Whiteland, Sankarlal, Poonah, Piparo, Morne Roche, Princes Town, Manahambre, Iere Village, Buen Intento, Malgretoute, Williamsville, Barrackpore, Bronte, Borde Narve, Ste Madeleine, Friendship, Penal Rock Rd, Diamond, Golconda, Esperance, Corinth, Cocoyea, Retrench, Palmyra, St Clements and Reform.

The Authority advises that it may take up to 12 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas after the Plant resumes full operations.
