Senator Foster Cummings and engineers conducted site visit to Wallerfield Gardens
On Friday 10th January the Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government, Senator Foster Cummings along with engineers of the Ministry visited Jacob Hill, Wallerfield Gardens to look at ongoing infrastructural development in the area.
Senator Cummings was joined on the walkabout by Member of Parliament, Maxie Cuffie, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Works and Transport, Adrian Leonce and Councilor Kerry Anne Roberts-Kasmally. They met with residents, listened to their concerns and took suggestions as to what was needed in their area to improve their livelihood.
One of the projects that the Ministry’s engineers are currently focusing on is the Jacob Hill Recreational Ground. There are plans to build a state of the art pavilion along with other infrastructure. This project like others in the area will encourage community activities, both sporting and cultural.
