Registration of Venezuelan Migrants has started
The Ministry of National Security wishes to advise that the Registration of Venezuelan Migrants started earlier today, May 31st at three locations throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
The centres will be opened from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. This registration process will run for a period of two weeks ending on June 14th, 2019. There will be no registration taking place on June 5th, due to the observance of Eid-ul-Fitr, which is a national holiday.
Today (Thursday 30th May, 2019), at all three locations, all systems were being put in place, and tested; and personnel who are participating in the registration process engaged in a walk-
through where they received their final briefing before the start of registration tomorrow (Friday 31st May 2019).

Applicants are reminded that they must fill out the form online and print two copies, which they will bring with them to any of the respective centres.
They are also required to walk with essential documents, which include two copies of the completed
***Cedula (of each family member in Trinidad and
****Marriage certificate, proof of address in Trinidad and Tobago,
*** Two (2) passport-sized photos, any other documents deemed necessary.
Registration Officers may request additional documents at the time of registration for which
additional time may be given for submission of same.

Achievors Banquet Hall, 2 Adesh Drive, Duncan Village, San Fernando
Caroline Building, Wilson Road, Scarborough, Tobago
There will be interpreters/translators at all venues to assist in the process. Security measures will be in place to manage both pedestrian and vehicular traffic at the various locations.
The Venezuelan Registration Migrant exercise is expected to run smoothly, and highly trained immigration officers, as well as security personnel will be on hand to manage, what is
expected to be a heavy flow of applicants.
