Prime Minister Rowley to attend CARICOM Meeting in Grenada

July 4, 2017: Prime Minister Dr the Honourable Keith Rowley will travel to Grenada on July 04, 2017 to attend the 38th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).

Prime Minister Rowley will lead a small delegation, which includes Senator the Honourable Dennis Moses, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, to the regional meeting which runs from 04-06 July, 2017.

This meeting is expected to include a presentation for approval on the development of skills for the 21st century Caribbean economy and society. The Heads of Government are also expected to deliberate on outstanding matters related to the implementation of the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) following the comprehensive review of the CSME’s performance presented to them at the last Inter-Sessional Meeting in February.

Minister of Finance, the Honourable Colm Imbert will act as Prime Minister until Dr Rowley’s return on 07 July, 2017.
