Ministry of Health recognises staff at the public health facilities for their continued efforts during Carnival 2018
The Ministry of Health would like to recognise and express its sincerest gratitude to all members of staff attached to public health facilities across the country for their dedication towards providing quality health care during the Carnival festivities.
Throughout the Carnival season, professionals attached to various public health facilities in Trinidad and Tobago provided:
Health services at all National Carnival Commission (NCC) Events;
Clinical and emergency services at facilities such as the Port of Spain General Hospital, San Fernando General Hospital, Sangre Grande Hospital, Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex and the Scarborough General Hospital; and
Services during extended opening hours at select health centres across the country.
The Ministry of Health continues to dedicate resources to mobilise and improve upon our rapid response systems. This goal can only be achieved through the commitment of healthcare professionals, which was demonstrated during this year’s festivities.It is only through these continued efforts that we achieve a Healthy Me, a Healthy You and a Healthy Trinidad and Tobago.
