Minister of Education condemns mischievous bomb threats
The Minister of Education the Honourable Anthony Garcia has strongly condemned the actions of the mischievous person/persons who have disseminated a bomb threat email to several of the nation’s schools. The email is a clear attempt to thwart the CSEC and CAPE examination process currently underway in secondary schools. Subsequent to the Ministry’s release earlier today (24th May), where St Joseph’s Convent, Port of Spain and St Joseph were identified as having received the threat, other schools have stated that the email was also sent to their inboxes.
The Ministry of Education working closely with the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service will continue investigations and treat with the threat as a matter of urgency. The examinations at all schools will continue this morning uninterrupted.
