Jehue cops silver in Hungary

July 9, 2014: T&T athlete, Jehue Gordon, shone in Budapest, Hungary on Tuesday, during the Istvan Gyulai Memorial meet.

Gordon missed out on gold at the men's 400 meters hurdles, clocking a time of 49.89 seconds.

In what was his fastest 2014 run to date, last week Gordon finished sixth at the Athletissima IAAF Diamond League meet in Lausanne, Switzerland, in a time of 49.29 seconds.

Fellow T&T athlete, Keston Bledman finished fifth in the Istvan Gyulai Memorial men’s 100m dash in 10.54 seconds. Meanwhile, T&T quarter-miler Jarrin Solomon finished sixth in the men's 400m in a time of 46.03 seconds.
