Eastern Regional Health Authority records first Christmas baby for 2020
Port-of-Spain, December 25th, 2020 – The Honourable Terrence Deyalsingh, Minister of Health, while visiting frontline medical staff at the Staff at the Couva Medical and Multi-Training Facility used the opportunity to announce the first three births recorded for Christmas Day 2020, they are as follows:

At 12:15 a.m. today December 25, 2020 MS. REANA JAMES was the first mother to give birth on Christmas Day in Trinidad. The healthy baby girl named JULIANNA weighed 3.20 kg was welcomed into the world at the Sangre Grande Hospital, Eastern Regional Health Authority. The baby was delivered by Dr. Corridon and Dr. Sobers.
The second birth was recorded at the South West Regional Health Authority at 12:58 a.m., MS. ARTI DEOKORAM gave birth to a baby girl weighing 3.16 kg. The baby was delivered by Dr. Petollokhman.
The Eastern Region also recorded the third birth at 1:02 a.m. when MS. MEENADAYE SOOKDEO delivered her baby boy. The child weighed 2.53 kg.
