Dillon: No effort will be spared
The Minister of National Security is expressing sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of taxi driver Devon Hernandez and schoolboy Joshua Andrews, who were victims who tragically lost their lives this afternoon after the vehicle they were in, was mistakenly shot at and caught on fire.
The Government strongly condemns this heinous act against innocent citizens.
Minister Dillon convened an emergency security meeting together with the Attorney General, the Ag. Commissioner of Police, senior officials of the TTPS and other law enforcement agencies.
All law enforcement agencies are in direct and active engagement and together send a stern warning to the perpetrators that they will be found and made to feel the brunt of the law.
A no holds barred approach will be taken by law enforcement to protect our law abiding people from the criminal elements and gang activity.
No effort will be spared. No stone will be left unturned.
